About Ecovery
A history of continual expansion
Since 2008, Ecovery has recycled scrap metal, switching in 2013 from electronic scrap to nonferrous metals. Over the past decade, Ecovery has gone through numerous expansions. From increasing capacity by adding new processing lines to diversifying into aluminum melting and most recently aluminum x-ray, Ecovery continues to R&D processes and products to scale our facility so our customers can count on high quality products.
As industry leaders, we continually innovate. Diversification is our strength and R&D is part of our DNA. Through our onsite fabrication shop, equipment is not only continually maintained, reducing downtime, lost production, and distribution delays, our equipment is redesigned to increase throughput and enhance quality of our products. Our product line has expanded from copper granules, aluminum deox, and RSI to various shredded alloys and dross/tolling services. With more products, we’ve met more customer needs and evolved to become one of the largest non-ferrous metals recyclers in the U.S. in under a decade, reaching all areas of the globe from Europe to Asia to South America.

A growing family
One family-owned business. Three successive generations. Ecovery’s line of manufacturing, customer service, diversification and innovation goes back to 1931. That’s when Sloan Implement—one of the world’s largest independently-owned John Deere dealerships—was founded.
Growth has always been a key goal. The Sloans have a history of manufacturing and agriculture, diversifying from farming to manufacturing steel grain bins, manufacturing chicken feeders, and catfish processing, to manufacturing plastics and decking. Now with Ecovery, the family has leveraged the expertise of new team members, moving into aluminum melting and wider distribution. Like our business, the Ecovery team is ever-expanding to better serve your needs.
